Hi everyone,

I used to be a facial blushing sufferer and I am not afraid to admit it. I believe that this is one of the most important things you can do, admitting that you have a problem and be willing to try anything to fix it. I am now 33 years old and have pretty much been blushing free since I was in my late twenties. My job as a salesman requires me to do public speeches and sales proposals, so I had to find something that worked. When I was in my late teens and early twenties there were jobs that I was unable to do because of my blushing. I remember one job I had when i was 22-23 years old. It was in a local grocery store and I did ok... when things worked out. The problem was that everytime some minor thing went wrong I would go red. This made me nervous and as a result I made more mistakes, thus getting red more often. At the end I quit the job because I did not feel comfortable and dreaded going to job. What it do though was make me realise that I had a problem and I needed to do everything in my power to get rid of it.

In my job now I am able to do things that I could not do before and I am managing to control my blushing in most situations. However, in the most embarassing situations or when I am faced with extremely daunting problems or tasks is still go red. This is NOT a problem, as I have come to realise that most people do experience facial blushing from time to time. I would not consider myself as a facial sufferer any more because I believe that a rare blushing is not the same as a facial blushing problem.

Hopefully everyone with a problem can find a way to cure or treat facial blushing. Good Luck!!
